Social & Service Groups and Events
Men's Breakfast
Every month or so, one of our members hosts a Saturday morning breakfast at their home. It's a social gathering for men from Grace and their friends.
Ladies at Leisure
Grace women get together socially from time to time for coffee, lunch, garden visits and other activities that are no-stress, no-fuss. The aim is to simply enjoy each other's company and to share the ups and downs of life together as a supporting community of friends. Open to all Grace women and friends.
Nanga Mai
Through this ministry, women from Grace join with women from other churches to write letters of encouragement to women in prison. They pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit as they write each letter, asking him to give them the right words for each inmate.
Grace Getaway
We generally hold our annual getaway at a caravan park, which offers a variety of accommodation options. Our getaways are super casual - not a lot of structure. We focus more on simply relaxing and enjoying each other's company. We can choose to do as much or as little as we like. Four-footed friends welcome!
Community care
We support through donations of money, gifts and time a range of national and local church-based agencies, including Lutheran Care (supporting disadvantaged and refugee communities), schools chaplaincy, Australian Lutheran World Service, Leprosy Mission, Bible Society and Teen Challenge.
Disaster Relief
After the Cudlee Creek fire in December 2019, a team from Grace joined a wider bushfire relief group based at Woodside Lutheran to assist survivors with food hampers and property repairs. While this need is not as urgent as it was, from time to time we still lend a helping hand when needed, and we are ready to assist in the event of another emergency in the Hills.
